Has someone used a powerful spell against you – this is very common in South Africa. Spells are used to against innocent people for all manner of things – revenge spells, love spells, and sickness spells. Whilst you Sangoma may tell you it is a sign from the ancestors to make a gift, it may also be that a powerful witch has been asked to cast a spell on you.

You need to get as much information as you can – when the so called bewitchment happened, what happened, where it happened? Who was near you when it happened – friends or enemies – a bewitchment may happen through a 3rd party that may know nothing. Also be careful that you are not just imagining the whole thing – there is such a thing as creating your own luck and your own bad luck – this is part of the human condition – most often bad things happen due to your own actions – and have nothing to do with witchcraft. If you have hurt someone, or are cheating, or are careless with another’s feelings – well then what goes around must come around – not a spell, or a curse – just the universe balancing out. If you are having bad luck with love, or with work – perhaps you are not giving the situation or person your true side. If you are lazy at work, and then get disciplined or dismissed – then mostly it is your own fault. Lazy, ignorant people like to blame things on others, true humans take responsibility and then they are able to get things right. Take control of your situation, treat others as you would be treated – you cannot blame things on witches most of the time. It is almost always your own karma that is playing out, and not a curse as many people would think.

If you really think that you have been cursed, or that a spell has been used against you then you have a problem. Finding out the exact nature of the curse is very difficult – you may think you know but a spell, or curse often is a broad spell – for instance a curse against relationships – it will play out in many forms – your relationship with your friends, or perhaps your mother or boss – you will only be thinking about your love – but the spell caster has put a curse n all your relationships. You have a number of options – find another witch doctor to make a counter spell, seek a healer of sangoma who is prepared to help with a protection spell – or use western witchcraft or sorcery to help. No one type of witchcraft is more powerful than another! – except to say that good witchcraft has it’s own power against black magic. If you have been bewitched you can try a protection spell or a protection bind rune to ward off the evil spell. A rune of protection can be used to protect against revenge spells and to protect against love spells. If you have been bewitched you will need a strong spell to “ward off evil spell against me”

Questions about who is the most powerful witch doctor in Africa, and which kind of witchcraft is the most powerful are continually being asked.
Questions about who is the most powerful witch doctor in Africa, and which kind of witchcraft is the most powerful are continually being asked. It is not the type of witchcraft – whether voodoo, or Wicca or sorcery, or traditional African witch craft – it is about the power of the healer, or sorceress or wizard. They all draw from the same “One power” avail;able to everyone. They each have their own techniques to access this power. Whether it be rune magic (power through the self) or sangoma healing (power from the ancestors) – it is all the same magic, colored by the personality and power of the sorcerer or practitioner.

Rune of protection and love - it needs to be bound with intent before it will work.

Black magic is no stronger than white magic – again it is the application of wizardry and power that makes one triumph over another. While a very powerful spell may be difficult to break – another equally powerful spell will nullify it – as long as the spell is properly prepared and suitably cast. Revenge spells and other spells that control other people can be very difficult to break – but some times with a simple rune of protection, the spell cannot harm you. Often it is one belief in the power of the spell that does the most harm – have you been bewitched? DO you believe in magic? – if you have then you probably give magic the power over you. DO you need a bind rune to ward off a spell that has been cast on you? We can prepare the perfect bind rune for protection – this will help with any one who has been bewitched. This rune needs to be crafted by hand, by the one who needs protection, while focusing on the issues of protection and love. – it needs to be bound with intent before it will work.

How to be a witch – this really depends on the type of witchcraft you want to follow – and more importantly, what are your intentions. If you plan to help people and make the earth your mother, and do all sorts of good things – choose Wicca, become a Wiccan. You could also become a Sangoma - these are traditional healers in Africa working for good. Rune lore offers ways to work for the universe in a good way.

If you are asking “how to be a witch” so that you cast spells for your own benefit, like money spells, or love spells – or you want to get to someone and throw a curse on them – choose to become a black witch, wizard or sorcerer – many witch doctors from Africa practise the black arts.

Be careful though – once you have chosen a path of black witchery or black magic, it will eventually own you and control you. Those who use magic and spells for control of others and to hurt others have chosen a dark master and will likely regret it in the end – unless of course your are already a bad ass dude who wants evil to be the way of the world! Research carefully when finding out how to be a witch – there are many paths – and some of them very bad.

Witchdoctors and Sangomas are often mixed up. A witchdoctor is a generic term for a person who uses tradional methods to heal and protect - other terms are- sorcerer, prophet, or shaman. They are also know as healers The term witchdoctor is used by people from Africa to describe the art of traditional healing that is practised. The witchdoctor will treat those who have been affected by witchcraft. A witch doctor can be the healer, and in some cases, the witch who practises witchcraft. African witchdoctors are found spread throughout Africa, and weild enourous power in some regions. The witch doctor can, in some case, cause widespread terror if they decide to name witches. Old people in Africa – especially woman are often named as witches – and once this happens it means an almost certain death for that person at the hands of zealous believers. The line between good witch doctors and evil ones is very fine sometimes. The Sangoma from South Africa will go through an involved Sangoma initiation once they have finished their training.

A Sangoma is a traditional healer. A Sangomas power comes from “the Ancestors”. A Sangoma is called by the Ancestors to become a healer and protector. Once a person has been “called” to becomea taditional healer by an ancestor, it is very difficult to ignore. The person who has been called must find an experienced Sangoma, and the training begins. She, or It is a long and difficult process. Once qualified, the man or woman, will begin her duties which include protection, soothing strife, healing the sick amongst others. A witch doctor often is in the family line and it is trained by passing the skills down the family line – A Sangoma can be from any family, as long as they have had the calling from the ancestors. Every person on earth, according to African beliefs, has a group of ancestors, which will guide them and protect them. Ancestor worship is prevalent in Africa, even amongst Christian Africans - African lore and religion often merge.

The witch doctor and the Sangoma both use spells and rituals to work their magic. African witchdoctors, or witch doctors are greatly respected in some regions – helping the common folk with all manner of ailments and social problems. If the intentions of the witchdoctors are good, the wonderful influence these practitioners have is easily felt in the balance and harmony in the region or village. Equally, the influence of evil witch doctors is terrifying, controlling politics, religion and many social aspects of communities. Both types of healers have their own initiation rituals – The Sangoma initiation ritual can be quite terrifying for the sorcerers apprentice. Sangomas practise their craft in rural areas and in all the mjor centers – in Cape Town, in Pretoria and in Gauteng.
